
On Monday, May 5, the ceremonial presentation of the 7th Rotary Science Award ROSA 2025 took place in the Throne Room of the City Hall in Ghent. [...]
[...] The jury decided to grant the ROSA 2025 to the research of Dr. Caroline Vandekinderen and Prof. Griet Roets. The Rotary Science Award amounts to 10,000 euros, a sum the researchers may use to anchor the winning project socially and further develop it.
Laureate Dr. Caroline Vandekinderen provided an explanation of the research project, which was carried out with the support of the Pelicano Foundation Chair on Child Poverty. The project examines how young people living in poverty can nevertheless develop aspirations and be supported in shaping their future prospects.
